Recently I started a microblog to replace the nasty Telegram

I chose a ready self-hosted application Writefreely
There’s also a separate community post about running it in Docker https://github.com/writefreely/writefreely/pull/1038
In general everything is ok, BUT I ran into the problem of hosting images...
And in my own (this) blog I don’t upload photos directly either — it’s not practical
You need to find a place to host images with longevity in mind
Before that I used Google Photos — but the links there also come out weird, and there’s no guarantee they won’t disappear later...
After trying 3–4 different self-hosted apps in Docker, I found it!
https://github.com/diced/zipline Zipline
The application is already ready in docker-compose, which you can quickly deploy, and it gives proper links to files/photos! Which I can embed into my blogs.

I didn’t expect it would be so difficult to find — all the other apps give a link to their gallery, not to the actual file
